Part 2

   The arena was packed and filled with people.I had never seen so many people before.It was kinda scary too.But we were ready.We went up to the desk where cream was and signed in."Hi.Just sign your names there."she pointed to a line on the checklist.Then she went over to stack of number cards and handed one to each of us."Wait,are you performing together?"She asked.We nodded."Ah alright then.Here you go."Said Cream taking the cards back and giving us another set."Now all you have to do is go through that door.You can change in there and get ready.Good luck."She said as we left.
    Behind the indicated door was about 15 people.I was getting butterflys in my stomach."Ah,lookie here.New comers."A rather large guy said.A stepped back a step as he approached me."Hey,don't be afraid.I'm gentle."He said as he gave a smile."Uh..hi?"I said in return.We noticed the changing rooms and we went to change.While i went in the girls changing room Xenon went in the boys changing room.I slipped off my clothes and put on the figure skating dress.it fit to my body.Next i put on the used white ice skates.I laced them up.Afterwards i took the ponytail out of my hair and brushed my hair.Then i took the pink hairties i bought and put my hair into pigtails.I didn't wear pigtails often,but i couldn't be noticeable among the police,which were crawling over the place.
    Thereafter i went out with my full costume on.I blushed a bit from the stares i got.Xenon was already out from changing.He had on black pants which had a blue flame up the side.On his shirt it had an identical flame.His white gloves were replaced with black fingerless gloves.I had no idea how he could do break dancing on ice,but he was able to do it.He wore black ice skates instead of white ones.
    An announcer came over the intercom."All contestants please make your way to the front flexiglass gate.Thank you."
Everyone began to get up and head towards the gate.There was a bench for the contestants to wait while the others were performing.The first contestant was a 12 year old with a pink tank top and tie with a plaid skirt.The song wasn't familar to me.But she wore headphones over her ears.The more i sat the more nervous i got."Hey,don't have a heart attack."A girl next to me said."huh?oh,the nervousness..yeah.."i said."It'll be alright.Nobody really pays attention to you,unless somebody knows you or if it's the judges.Plus you have to get the crowds attention first.There's nothing to worry about.Besides this is only a junior competion.That means only kids under the age of 16 can participate."She explained.I nodded."I-Im grace"I told her.She didn't even know i was lying about my name."I'm melanie.I've been in the competition for a couple of years now."She smiled.I forced a smile back.
    Meanwhile Xenon was watching every performer do toe loops,flips,Axels,camel spins,and many other moves."Wow..these guys are really good."He said.Then i noticed he was the only boy performing.Then who was that big guy in the other room?about an hour later it was Xenons and my turn."Everyone please welcome the debuting team of Grace and whisper"The announcer said.The crowd clapped duly and we slid out into the middle of the rink.Our song xenon and I agrreed on,Catch me if you can,began to play.As i slid out into The rink I saw a figure move through the crowd.If i didn't know any better i would've said it was an older version of xenon."Violet!"Xenon whispered.I nodded in return.
       Xenon started his first breakdance move called a corkscrew.While he did that i did a basic bunny hop jump.Out of the corner of my eyes i could the see judges weren't impressed,Yet.Xenon did a number of moves such as the helicopter,scissors,and pike.I did a firgue eight and axel jump.But what really caught the crowds attention was when i did a back flip over xenons air flare.From there on we performed our moves in sync.Flare,butterfly jump.Back spin,camel spin.Head spin,catilever.Butterfly fly,catch foot.As our performance was coming to an end the crowd was on its feet.I couldn't help but smile.Xenon and i skated towards each other and performed our final move,the death spiral.
        The corwd applauded and cheered when we finished."That was amazing! were those break dance moves?"One of the commenters said."I Believe they were.Those two sure have natural talents!"The other commenter said.
        Xenon and i slid out of the rink and back to the bench.Suddenly the arena began to shake and something fell through the roof.It was a black and red hedgehog."You call this a competition?Humph.Let's get a real competition going shall we?"He gave an evil laugh.He was around the age of 27 and had a black leather jacket on.Then i saw his eyes.A blood red that sent chills down my spine.He gave a grin of satisfaction from the screaming crowd.
       The figure from earlier jumped out of the corwd with no fear in his eyes.He was a blue hedgehog,the same color as xenon and he had three blue spikes .I looked at him and then xenon.They were so similar.The blue hedgehog took a dive at the black hedgehog landing a punch in the black hedgehogs face."Ladies in gentlemen,please remain calm and make your way to the emergency exits."The anouncer said.But who were the two hedgehogs fighting?They looked like they could be brothers."So shadow i haven't seen you in years."The blue hedgehog said."Yeah the last time i saw you sonic was at that bar when you told me amy had gotten pregnant."Shadow smirked.Sonic the hedgehog?Thee sonic the hedgehog?I had read about him a few times from when he was 15."Tell me shadow,what brings you here?"Sonic grinned."That is none of your buisness faker.Now stay out of my way!"Shadow said as he charged at sonic.Sonic took the blow head on and crashed into the arena wall."Violet come on!"Xenon said beggining to pull me."Wait a second xenon.I think that blue hedgehog can help us find out who our parents are."I said to him."Are you crazy?!I don't wanna get involved with that guy!"Xenon said to me."Fine then,you go.I'll talk to him myself."I said to him walking towards him."Ah,just what i was looking for."Shadow said as he spotted me.Why did he want me?"Shadow she's just a kid!"Sonic yelled at him.Shadow ignored him and continued to walk towards me."Violet rose.What a coincidental name.I know someone with the same surname as you.Maybe theres a connection?"He grinned evily.He knew my name.."How do you know my name?!"I yelled at him."what it's not obvious to you?I know you violet."He said as he got closer to me.
       I was against the wall facing him.We were inches away.His arm next to me blocking my way.Then when i thought he was gonna get closer sonic knocked him out of the way.He grabbed my hand and he begna to run with me.He was fast just like Xenon and I."What's going on?And why does that guy know me?"I asked sonic."No questions now.Just run."He said looking back.
      we were the last out of the arena.I didn't see shadow following us."Wait."I told him.He skidded to a stop."What's wrong?"He said."I have to get something."I said.I ran back and over to xenon."Come on xenon we've gotta get out of here."I told him.He nodded and folowed me.
     Sonic,xenon,and i were now running away from the police and shadow.Our adventure had just begun.
