Dark wish chp 5

The moon arose over the now destroyed city. The place was in complete ruins. Buildings and glass were shattered, With debris surrounding it everywhere. The surviving people tried to climb over the disastrous mess and try to find any more survivors or food and belongings. But they had no clue that there were such poisonous gases in the air.
    One little girl, Who appeared to be alone, Was looking for something, Or in this case, Someone. "Mama! Daddy?" She cried. There was no response from any one. She continued her search, But she had no luck. The girl was around 7 or 8 and had brown pigtails, With a now torn pink dress.
     Then, At that moment, She came across two figures lying face down on the ground. Not moving, Or breathing. She ran to them, And lifted one of the peoples faces. It was her very own father. "Daddy! No!" Tears began to stream her face. "..No..Daddy.." She knew he was dead. But there was another figure lying next him. This one was a woman, With the exact same brown hair color as the little girl. "Mama?" No response. "Mama?" The girl shook her. "Mama!" She called and called, And still received no response from the woman. She too, Was dead. The girl's tears flowed free now. She knew she was alone.
     Another figure slowly approached her. She looked up at the figure, Wondering who it was. As the figure walked into the light, The little girl saw she had seen this figure before. He was a red and black hedgehog. "I-it's you!" She said, She got to her feet and hugged him. The hedgehog was quite taken aback by this. For one thing, He was NOT in a very good mood, At all. Though he didn't want to hurt the small child, He took a hand and gently removed her from hugging him. Then he slowly began to walk away. "Wait!  Please don't go...I don't want to be...Left...alone.."She said in between sobs. The ebony hedgehog continued to make his way through the rubble, Not stopping, Even for the crying girl.
     "Please mysterious shadow, You saved me once before. A long time ago. Please don't leave me." The girl cried, Hugging him from behind. The hedgehog sighed, And once again removed her. "Listen, I saved you because I was merely trying to defeat an enemy. I had no intentions of saving a mere pedestrian. Now I suggest you leave." He said in a dark, Uncaring tone. "B-but-"
     The girl was cut off as the figure turned and glared at her, Giving her a warning to back off. The child took a step back so the figure could continue walking. He was out of sight in minute.

     The ebony hedgehog walked to the nearest cliff. He was sick and tired of all this Destruction by an old enemy of his. Though, He of all people? Why would Sonic the Hedgehog want to destroy a city? Shadow sighed and continued to think over the situation trying to figure out how and why he wanted to destroy that city. That city was his home, It didn't make any sense to him. Shadow got up at that moment in search of the blue blur. Why does it matter to me? He thought to himself. Hundreds of questions were racing through his mind, Unable to think of anything else at the moment.
     Over the Horizon two small figures appeared, One appearing to be helping the other walk. Shadow squinted to see who the figures were, And too his amazement, It was Amy rose and Tails the Fox. "Amy? Tails? What are you doing coming back to the city?" Shadow asked, Walking over to them. "We're taking a path that's to the right of this city so we can get out of here. We tried going the other way....But it was all blocked off with military soldiers. They aren't letting anyone in or out of the city." Said tails with a sigh. "Well I wouldn't go that way if I were you. The city is filled with poisonous gases." Shadow said, Beginning to walk away from them. "I know, I just barely escaped it..."Tails said, Now avoiding eye contact.

Sonic's POV
    Sometime that day, On my way into the city, Somebody jumped on my back and wrestled me to the ground. I was unaware of who they were, But I knew they were against me. I tried blasting them off with some of my dark energy, But that failed and backfired. They put my hands behind my back, And I heard the click of the cuffs. The police had finally gotten me.
    They shoved me into the police car, Not saying what they had arrested me for, But I already knew that. The car drove away, Taking me to my future Cell. Once there, I was thrown into an isolated cell, Away from all the other prisoners here. Now, I sit here on the ground of this cold hard cell. But, I WAS going to escape. I'm not spending my time in this horrible place.
     All of a sudden, As I was thinking, A sharp pain stung me in my head. I shut my eyes tight. The pain throbbed against my skull, I could almost feel a weight being lifted off of me. I looked at my fur, And it was light blue...No. I'm not letting him become normal. No way. I was his ego, And I planned on staying in his body. He struggled to fight me, So he could get me out of his body. This went on for about 5-10 minutes, Until I won once more, Taking over his body. I was his controller, He was MINE.
